Responsibilities

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will work closely with the Executive Director to set and drive the organizational vision and mission, agency strategy, and hiring needs. The COO will develop actionable strategies, objectives, and plans that ensure alignment with short and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the Executive Director.

 

Assisting the Executive Director with the daily operation of the Agency the COO will: maintain knowledge of and deploy resources to insure that all programs are in compliance with regulatory mandates, serve as an advisor to staff, clients, and board members in both a professional and technical manner, including advising in human resource decisions and processes, budget preperation and reviewing  AP/AR, and assisting with program development.

 

Full-time Exempt - $95,000.00-$100,000.00 annually

Qualifications

The COO will possess excellent analytical and planning skills, the ability to motivate, organize, and respond to employees of many different areas of expertise. Strong organizational, time-management, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal and relationship-building skills are a must.  This position works both independently and as part of a team. 

 

Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Social Work or related field and five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in the general operations/administrative role in human services required. Master’s degree is preferred.
